11 of the 19 walks and viewpoints in the Peak District say whether dogs are allowed. For the rest, check with the landowner before you set out, particularly in lambing season.
Access rules for dogs are not the same in Scotland as in England and Wales, and some of them change with the season. The Countryside Code, published jointly by Natural England and Natural Resources Wales, covers England and Wales.
