The refusals
Most cottage sites list the properties that take dogs and leave out the ones that do not, so a refusal is something you find out at the point of booking.
Access rules for dogs are not the same in Scotland as in England and Wales, and some of them change with the season. The Countryside Code, published jointly by Natural England and Natural Resources Wales, covers England and Wales.
